At the end of another week! Or I guess beginning.
We got to eat dinner with out Branch President and his family this
weekend. It was great to hear about some of his mission experiences in
Rio de Janiero (sp?) and also to help him and his wife think about
people that they can be sharing the gospel with.
Also, the miracle family from last week came to church! The 8 year
old and 10 year old werre amazing in Primary. The 8 year old, Maria,
wanted to participate when they were saying the Articles of Faith.
Children were standing in the front, reciting them. So, she grabbed
Sister Larsen's scriptures and memorized #7, and then walked right up
and said it! I was so impressed. She can't wait to come back next week.
The mother, Miosoti (Dominican names... so crazy), also had a good
experience and we will be going back on Tuesday to talk about their
experience and figure out if they will be able to be married before
December 1st, their baptismal date. That's exciting!
What else... we love our little Bayonne and all of the members. The
little boy who was run over by a car should be home next week by
Thanksgiving :) We are so happy about that. Miracles happen every day.
Even when something seems like it's awful, God's hand is behind it.
Because he loves us and wants to bless us :) Read the Book of Mormon! It
will change your life.
Love
Hermana Millward
